the erc orientation was alright. it was pretty boring other than signing up for classes. im taking math 20c, poli 12, mmw 1, and ltsp 2a. im gonna die x.x i found out that im gonna be staying in revelle's dorms cuz i sent in my housing stuff a bit late so yay argo for me. i cant find my housing contract tho.. and thats really not good. if i dont find it by monday im gonna call ucsd and figure out what to do cuz if i dont get that in by july7th im screwed. the food was hella good but it wasnt the regular food. boo for that. and boo to the fact that i gained hella weight there too ._. there were no lynbrook people but i still met a bunch of cool ppl and got a few sn's soooo yeah. gosh the weather down there is so nice. there's a constant breeze and the sky is clear and lovely. when i came back i was greeted with lovely 100+ temperature in san jo. only problem is that the ppl in socal are weeeird. they dont say hella! which isnt all _that_ weird but they say weird stuff like "grip" and.. other stuff.
my mom gave me a "talk" today. ::sighs:: i hate her talks. "blahblahblah-im-disappointed-in-you-you-should-have-done-better-good-girls-dont-stay-out-so-late-dont-you-have-anything-better-to-do-than-go-out-all-the-time-you-wanted-freedom-in-high-school-and-i-let-you-that-was-the-biggest-mistake-i-ever-made-look-at-where-you-are-now" i also hate how i have a curfew now x.x
mikes house was fun. it was morgan, the young family, and the usual seniors... tom tree frank and me. we played ddr and then the guys played some ball and we did some dunking... it was kinda fun actually :p then we looked and stars and messed with some firecrackers and i took morgan home cuz he wasnt feeling well. when i came back we just chilled in franks car. we played some word association and omgggg mike is meeeeeean ::sulks:: then we sang stupid songs... from bsb to disney songs to pokemon. good times :)

graduation: went alright. i didnt trip and fall when receiving my diploma so i guess that was good. thank you everyone for the grad gifts. i loooove the poster. i predicted it! i got skillss. and yay for aston martins :DD and the bear toooo. i loved stuffed animals :) and the rainbow pencils and gift cards and of course, the money ^^
grad night: was fantastic. marvelous. it was all that i had imagined and more.
when we checked in we got a disposable camera and a name badge with our pictures and numbers on it. it also had a schedule on the back with all the activities and stuff. this is what i did (in no particular order):
dinner: was yummy. they had tons of options like noodles and meatballs and chow mein and salad and cheese sticks and brownies and rice krispie treats and other stuff
casino: was entertaining. we played a little blackjack before dinner and never went back so we never got tickets or anything. but the blackjack was fun cuz the dealer was helping tree and looking at the card and then telling her whether she should hit or not :p
caricature: was cuteeee. it seriously looks just like me! except for one thing that was over exaggerated for both me and tree. ::cracks up::
balloons: were adorable. i couldnt decide between a penguin and a flower so i just asked for both and got a penguin on top of a flower. tree, do you remember what he said when he popped the flower balloon? "oops that one was a poppy!" seriously the best joke i've heard in ages :p
karaoke: was lovely. we sang "how do i live" but the word machine was broken so we kind of sang random lyrics at random times. and when the guys were singing bsb songs i was serenading amy because im a dork and i know all the words to their songs x.x
prize drawing: was cool. EVERYBODY won something. i got a $20 gift card for chillis. some people got the logitech cordless keyboard and mice things. boooo to them. its okay i already have it ^^
rock climbing: was hard. it was hard to grab onto cuz it was so slippery but tree and i both made it to the top :DD
laser tag: was blinding. crazy strobe lights x.x we played guys vs. girls, frank mike chen vs me tree and tracy. i think the girls ended up winning but im not sure.
sumo wrestling: was fun. tree and i got into those awful suits and put on the gloves and helmet then crashed into each other a few times. its fun jumping onto the mat and landing on your stomach cuz you dont feel anything. its just hella hard to get up afterwards -__-
bungee run: was exciting. first i did it with tree and that was alright. then i raced colin and that was bad. i lost all three times and now my neck is hella sore cuz of all that whiplash when the cord pulls you back. its okay it was still tons of fun :DD
hula hoop contest: was amusing. its basically who can hula hoop the longest and a few of us all hula hooped the entire song and could probably go on forever so the deejay just gave all of us yoyos as prizes :p
bonfire: was mesmerizing. watching the flames dance and the sparks fly up was beautiful. i agree that a lot of the "sharing" stuff was kind of pointless though. "i'm going to miss my friends..blahblah.." if they're such good friends i'm sure you'll keep in touch and see each other over the summer.
other random things:
i wish i could have done the treasure hunt but i was too busy hula hooping ._.
the sand for beach volleyball was soft and lovely, especially compared to that awful santa cruz sand x.x
i wanted to take pictures in the mustang but we forgot to :(
helping mike jin check his tickets and in the end, jesse won the microwave :p
there was lots of hugging and crying at the end of grad night. there was so much love and this incredible sense of... togetherness.
i never really thought about how my group of friends had changed over the last few years but i talked to a lot of people that i'd lost touch with since freshman year. to amy and sam - remember the birthday cake we baked for veyom freshman year? he still remembers it.... funny how something so small can make such a big difference...
then after grad night a few people went to parker ranch to watch the sunrise but it was cloudy and we missed it. jesse and i walked to the top and talked for a while then a few seniors came to smoke cigars and i watched them act like they were high but they were really just sleep deprived.
grad night overall: it was an awesome experience and i'm glad i went. there were so many activities that i didnt feel tired at all. it was great seeing everybody and spending one last night with them just talking and taking pictures and having fun. and as tracy said, i think the best thing about grad night was that unlike prom, nobody was sitting to the side or left out. everyone i saw was having a good time. seriously one of the best nights of my life.
bfd: was decent. i went with monica morgan and eugene but i saw yawen and shamala there and rebecca and her bf too. i kind of had higher expectations of it after going to bfd7 but it was still pretty fun. there wasnt as much free stuff but we still got mousepads and some lanyard things and lots of mocha malt from starbucks. all american rejects were at the second stage and they were good other than the fact that they kept saying "san francisco" even though we were in mountain view. i wanted to watch the ataris right after aar but eugene and monica were tired of standing so we left. we played tons of games of cards while waiting for the main bands. the mainstage was pretty cool... evanesence didnt make it cuz someone's in a hospital somewhere. whitestripes were alright, AFI was lovely. deftones was zzzzz. i was seriously gonna fall asleep even with all that screaming. YAY for the foo fighters though. they're hella cool live. i dont think there were as many people smoking this year. i dont feel dizzy or have a headache today :p

it was all gray and cloudy but i still tanned...some...

boooo to the stupid volleyball and all the bruises i have now cuz of it x.x

and yay for tackle football too. heeheeee i got yenmin :D

then i watched the italian job with a bunch of people. good movie. pretty similar to oceans 11 but still hella cool. aston martin vanquish. most beautiful car. ever.

grad gram: "wishing you best of luck" haha thanks morgan. how incredibly sweet :p and i'll make sure i hang out with your brother at sd. jkjk. thank you x100000 for the pretty cap tho! and you STILL havent signed my yearbook! >:O
tracy's bday thing: nemo was cuteeeee. so what if there is no plot? nemo and peach and bloat were soooo adorable :]] fresh choice was... fresh choice? there isnt really much to say about that. the dance was fun though. it felt nice to dance with other people and not worry about what certain people would think... booooo to morgan for leaving so early. ::sniffles:: but all the girls danced for once! that was pretty coooooool. and they played a lot more alternative music so that was good too.
afterwards: we went to carrows. of course. where else do lynbrook people go after dances? :p then we chilled at my house for a while... people left whenever they got tired and frank tom and yang ended up sleeping over :p
next day: more weird times. played lots of cards like usual. yang never really left so morgan came and we tried to make yang lose all of his marble things when playing thirteen :DD then frank came back from gamestop and frank and morgan were like.. trying to wrestle and kill each other. tom and chen came later and just sat and chilled. tree came over and showed me the stuff she bought which was prettyyyy. gah i wish i could find cheap clothes like her. ::sulks:: :( jason came over too. even though i told him several times not to. and... he... acted the way he always does.
sunday: tino's baccalaureate was boring as heck and now milton and i are eating fruits and talking and trying to work on my research paper. yay x100000 for amy and shamala who are super cool and brought me chocolate covered strawberries for no reason at all. i love you both :)
now: real work on the research paper has commenced. as soon as i finish blogging that is :p

shopping for bathing suits with tree has made me realize that losing weight is not enough. i still haven't lost the fat around my stomach and my thighs, making finding fitting bikini bottoms nearly impossible. not that anyone needed to know that. at least all the tops fit ^^ tom amazingly enough had never eaten arby's before so we had arby's for dinner. it was the first time i didnt share a meal with tree in ages. i felt like such a pig =\ mucho thanks to leo for driving us all to target and valley fair and arbys.
the senior concert was alright. it was pretty good at first but then it just started feeling long and drawn out. and hella people started leaving during and after intermission. after i came home i looked at old movie ticket stubs for almost an hour. the ones i have add up to about 400 dollars and i know im missing a ton. its hard to believe how much money i've spent watching movies these last few years. and i know i'm gonna be watching at least a few more in the next few weeks.
senior ditch day was funny. no one was absent from my english class. NO ONE. the class of '03 is a bunch of wusses. yes, i'm one of them i know. i'm proud of myself though. sam tracy tree and i all ditched our sixth periods. its the first time i ever ditched a class and probably the last time too. sillieeee amy. too chicken to even ditch calc even though her powerpoint was basically finished. we went to palace for korean bbq buffet and then tree and i watched x2 with the guys. im sure it would have made more sense if we'd watched the first xmen or if we'd read the comics but it was still cool :D
milton's back in california. alex tim and i went to pick him up at the san jose airport. we were late cuz we went to the wrong terminal but it was alllll good cuz he was just getting his luggage as we got to baggage claim. then we went to tk and tapex because morgan has made me almost addicted to that place. speaking of which, more good times with that boy. late night talks on the phone, music, movies, tv, food, tapex, air hockey, board games, and way too many games of cards. at least you've learned to listen to me in the future ;)
these last few weeks since after prom have seriously been the best weeks of my life. i dont think i've ever had this much fun or been more relaxed and carefree. thanks a bunch to all of my friends. you know who you are :) the reality is beginning to sink in. my four years at lynbrook are almost over. two days of senior finals then checkout then we're basically finished with lynbrook. other than graduation practice and all that bs stuff :P
one last summer together and thats it. its hard to believe we've known each other for years now. how time flies ._.
