prom wasnt that bad. okay sure, i had some issues with jason. some major MAJOR issues. but the prom itself wasnt that bad.. i guess i was kind of annoyed a lot of the night but in retrospect, i had a lot of good times too. to start off, all the tree girls looked ravishing ;) and my hair makeup and stuff all went pretty smoothly. i had so much foundation on that i looked hella pale but i guess in pictures it looked alright. a lot of people asked me where i got my hair done and my mommy did it :DD i'm too short so i had to wear monica's hella high silver shoes and my dress STILL sort of dragged on the floor.

after all those preparations we went to century to take pictures and despite all that happened, we managed to take our studio pictures (i think i blinked in most of them by the way) and get back to my house around 4:30 to take digicam pictures. and thennn we went to lynbrook and waited in a hellllla long line. and took a group picture with sixteen people :p we boarded the bus and that was pretty boring.. didnt really talk much... kind of just.. sat... but its okay.

when we got to the boat there were two hornblower boats so that was kinda funny. we all got cider in cute little glasses when we got on the boat too. despite all the complaining about the food, i thought it tasted fine. i liked the salad and the rice. then again, i like most food. the dancing and other stuff was a mess though.. there were two floors, basically a trance and techno floor and a r&b and hiphop floor. and the second floor seems good until you learn that one, people kept karaoking and butchering songs and two, the floor was packed so tightly that you barely move without hitting someone else.

the casino was pretty fun... i played blackjack and lorraine and zeewei were like.. cleaning out the dealer :p i did decently.. ended up with almost 300 dollars in chips and we all started with 50. i took a yellow one as a souvenir 0:) there were tons of people with black and white dresses from jessica mcclintock but no one had the same dress as me. ::sigh of relief:: i learned from jason's prom last year and remembered to bring slippers with me so i could be comfortable during the dance. my dress hella got stepped on though :|

afterwards we had a sort of "gathering" at my house and we just like.. talked and laughed and messed around and stuff which lasted all night basically.. jason and i had a few talks... not in a good way either. too much drama for me =x i got hella tired at like 8 in the mornign and slept for like two hours but a few people were still left when i woke up and we ended up talking and playing video games for a while.. then everyone left except for morgan and mike because was still sleeping and morgan and i needed to work on stats.

morgan and i went to santana row to return lots of tuxes and looked at some hella cool art in the streets. then we went gummy bear hunting and shopping at valley fair, which was pretty pointless. i saw the express shirts that me and tree bought on sale for 50% off the original price so we both wasted eight dollars but its okay. we had a burping contest sorta cuz he got this weird orange moutain dew stuff and i'm talented enough to burp after drinking anything instead of having to wait for ages for it to come :P andddd i learned how to undo a hand brake thing! its so much easier on my car... just pull a little handle... no strength or effort involved at all :p

its kinda odd but there are very few green jelly beans in each bag compared to the other colors. and.. yeah... im hella tired now cuz i barely slept and i need to do an entire weeks of econ and yet i'm still blogging. i need to get my priorities straight.

the cd they gave us had so many memories... i still remember good riddance at 8th grade graduation. i didnt know we had a class song but at least its a song i like. to everyone in the class of '03 -- here's to the night.

And it's happened once again
I'll turn to a friend
Someone that understands
Sees through the master plan

But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well I guess this is growing up

i saw the most incredible thing ever today. we were driving on 87 and there were hundreds of motocycles in the left lane. they just kept coming and coming... and they were all sparkling and clean and gorgeous. there must have been at least a thousand. and i just stared in awe of the beauty of it.

correction. my car isnt totaled. not by the 70% definition at least. its just completely butchered and undrivable. so basically we're getting it repaired then like... trading it in for something else? or something like that. i dont really get it. i just know that i probably wont be driving anytime soon, which is perfectly fine with me.

morgan and i finally decided a stats topic! gummy bear colors. yeah its sort of like that m&m thing we did earlier this year but uhh.. its okay. yay lots of gummy bears for us to eat after we count them :)

the pops concert was alright. orchestra and wind ensemble were quite impressive. especially the seniors. yay '03 :) but the chamber choir butchered "send in the clowns" (one of my moms favorite songs) and didnt do much justice to "i say a little prayer" either (a song from my favorite movie soundtrack). the better versions are by judy collins and diana king (or the cast of my best friends wedding) respectively. you can im me if you want them. i can just send them to you.

as for ap tests, us gov was pretty easy. it was actually kind of fun in my opinion. comparative owned me. and econ is probably gonna own me too. but at least my ap's will be over. andd i get to watch matrix reloaded tomorrow! ahh im so excited :DD

i totaled a fifty thousand dollar car ._.

i was picking up tim cuz he needed a ride to the conference and i was already pretty late so i was in a rush and i hit a curb a little hard. i noticed the wheels werent aligned correctly and i'd start moving left if i let go of the steering wheel but i figured it wasnt that bad so i continued to pick up tim. he got in the car and agreed that it wasnt that bad and that i was still driving okay so we got back on the highway to go to the conference. as i started driving faster (cuz i was on the highway now) i noticed that i wasnt able to control the car.. it was like wobbling and everything. so i tell tim that we're gonna get off at the next exit and right about then, the accident happens. i lose control of the car and we slam into the wall on our right (i'd just gotten onto the highway so i was in the right lane) and then we bounce back into the center divider for the highway. while i dont know what happened for sure, what tim said (and what my parents think) is that the car fishtailed and i turned the wheel against the car (which is the wrong thing to do by the way) and the car crashed into the wall. the airbags did not pop up cuz we hit the wall a strange angle and only activated one of the sensors in the bumper. the only injuries were that tim sprained his thumb and i sprained my wrist. the police ended up giving us a ride to the conference in the back of their car :D

my dad was hella pissed when he first heard about the accident but when he saw the car he was grateful that i was alive.

in retrospect, it could have been so much worse.
i was only going around 50mph cuz we just got on the highway. a faster speed probably would have killed us.
tim and i were both wearing our seatbelts. if we hadnt we probably would have been much more seriously injured.
there werent any cars around us because it was so early in the morning that the highway was almost empty. if i'd hit another car... ugh i dont even wanna think about it x.x
in any other car i probably would have died, or at least been seriously injured. so i guess its good i was driving a benz :\

i know you all want to give me rides for the next month. i'm hella scared of driving now .__.

Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)Low
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Low
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very Low
Level 7 (Violent)Moderate
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Moderate
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Low

Take the Dante Inferno Hell Test

description for level one
Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.

that doesnt sound like such a bad place to be. actually i got level five on my first try but then i changed one of my answers: "Have you ever taken pleasure in someone else's misery?" cuz i dont really take pleasure in their misery..... not... really... so yeah. i changed from level 5 to level 1 with that one answer change. interesting, eh?
