wheeee. the first week of school is ooooverrrr. after school was funny. neither monica nor i have a seventh period, we didnt wanna walk home, and my mom was busy. fortunately colin volunteered to give us a ride home, so i went with leo cuz of his super cool gps thing, and monica went with tom.. for reasons i know not. it was kinda cool seeing three cars following each other and stopping at my house and doing everything in unison. or maybe it was just me. at least i got my parking permit today, so now i wont have to bum rides off them anymore :D
i told my mom i was gonna go to the dance so i could hang out with jason later cuz my mom made my curfew 10. its pretty lenient as long as i just let her know ahead of time, but three months ago she didnt care a bit, so its a little bit weird. and just as i'm getting home a little after 11, i notice two cars pulling up and monica coming out of one of them. and no surprise, the car is driven by frank or colin or tom or leo. or one of them. then leo comes and its threee cars again. but they didnt leave in unison this time. oh well.

monica has tiederman for world history and is taking precalc, but my mom changed her mind and she wont let my sister skip 2trig and go straight to precalc, because i basically skipped geometry cuz we learned diddilysquat at foothill and i keep getting b's in math.
freshman year. first semester of 2trig i had the highest grade in the class. second semester i had major issues with logs so i just kind of gave up in that class, didnt learn the trig, and got a b.
sophomore year. first semester. i didnt know logs or trigs so i died in precalc. second semester he just hated our class cuz of that whole cheating issue and everyone got b's, even people like suhasini.
junior year. i spent too much time working on compsci. i didnt learn things very well, and then i failed the final (seriously failed, as in the lowest grade in our entire class), which is worth 25% of your grade, so i ended up with a c+ in calc. for that matter, i got a c+ in compsci too, so all my time was wasted. i was gonna drop the class so i stopped doing the hw and consequently failed the next two tests, cuz i thought i was dropping. korsunsky persuaded me to stay in the class. i had an a- before the final even with my reeeally low test scores in the beginning but i got a b on the final soo i got a b in the class overall.
siiiiigh. just as long as she doesnt have tiederman for history. i seriously think tiederman hates me. i did all the work and did decently on the tests, and i got b's both semesters. i made up all the work i missed, but i learned that she really hates it when people miss her class.. and i did a LOT of that. aaahhhh sigh. i hate looking at my transcript. its so depressing.

wooohoooo. i love getting off at 12:45 cuz i dont have a seventh. for the first time, i can actually go home and sleep! sophomore year i had team PE, so while i didnt really have a seventh, i had to do sports and stuff. last year, i had compsci online, and the only dad we had to go to class was tuesday cuz it was block. wheeee getting off at 12:45 is fun. art was nice. we just made books, and i actually understood what was going on! in english, we discussed a painting for a reeeally long time and i kept raising my hand and clark never called on me so i just gave up. and then we got into groups and we have to do presentations. i guess its sort of good that we got oresteia cuz if we do all the theme analyzing and stuff for our presentation, then we'll probably know it better on our essay. Spanish... was spanish. its kind of like spanish 4 but she goes a lot faster. we wrote a diary, then we had an essay, then we did the talking into tape recorders thing. and its the first day of school! i mean.. last year that was like our final, and she told us the topics in advance and we had time to prepare.
jason took me to marina for lunch cuz i wanted to get rid of those little coupon thingies and i thought i saw my mom and didnt think it was my mom so we went back to my house to check and i was riiiight. eheheheheh. we hung out for a while then i fell asleep so he went to work and i woke up just now, so i slept for about 4 hours, which means i wont be able to sleep tonight. at least its late start tomorrow :D
i got my senior shirt today. eighteen dollars. what a ripoff. at least it looks prettier than last year's did.

aaahhh i accidentally refreshed this stoooopid page. cuz i meant to press shift-r and i pressed ctrl-r and i have no clue how it happened but thats okay! hehehe. yay. i got a pretty balloon today. apparently mike's brother gave it to mike, mike gave it to tracy, tracy gave it to sam, and sam tried to pass it around the tree people and finally amy tied it to my purse. so i supposedly have a summer birthday sortof. my schedule isnt nearly as bad as i thought it might be. my first period is kruk, and she doesnt really care too much if you're late, cuz you can just bring in a box of kleenex for every three tardies. i was worried that i might be surrounded by freshmen and sophomores since its 3d design 1, but there's actually quite a few seniors. francine, helen, steven wishnack, the perepelitskys... so it'll be alright. i'm kind of worried about english ap and spanish ap... more about spanish than english actually, cuz in english i at least know whats going on. except that we have a test on frankenstein on thursday, a test on catch-22 on friday, and an essay about oresteia sometime in the near future. gov doesnt seem that bad. i feel like my summer panicking was all wasted, cuz some people apparently didnt even know we had summer homework. but pugh seems pretty cool, so i guess the class should be alright. i had physio 6th period with schmalz but i dont really like her so i transferred into electronics 2 even though i've never taken electronics 1. so now i have 4 classes with tracy, and none with amy, sam, or tree. i have a headache and i want to take a nap but if i sleep then i wont be able to sleep tonight. sigh.

i neglected to mention that at the elephant bar, i tied a knot in a cherry stem with my TONGUE. it only took me like.. 20 minutes and frank said i couldnt do it. HA :P today was my 16 month anniversary with jason and we went to the old spaghetti factory and i got a little kid baggy thing with crayons and an activity book cuz jason was cool and got it for me :D go be cool and look at the pics here and tell me on aim which pic you like best. tom's thing tomorrow at hometown. to gooo or not to go. that is the question...

my sis wanted me to scan her studio pics, but it seems that my scanner's gone crazy. first, my computer refused to acknowledge that a scanner was there, so i restarted it, and then the scanner magically was there, but then when i tried scanning things, they were rreeeeeeeally light, like almost white with a teeny bit of color, and the scanner was making weird noises. then i tried scanning my senior pics again, which had worked a few days ago, but then it came out odd and had random red and blue stripes all over the picture, and the scanner was making even weirder noises, so i just gave up and unplugged it :D

wheeeee. i BIKED to jason's house and then to the tino library, but they didnt have lies my teacher told me >.< i tried BIKING back to jason's house, and this crazy little kid on a scooter was going on the wrong side of the street and he was going towards me and i tried to dodge him and fell off my bike and sprained my wrist. so i finally got back to jason's house, and we hung out and watched tv for a while, then we both BIKED to hobby world, where i got monica some card sleeve binder thingies that i think are what she wanted for her pictures. we saw frank and mike and tom there cuz they wanted jobs or something and they laughed at us cuz we were BIKING but at least i got some much needed exercise :D

my dad loved the old tetris on nintendo. he'd play it until 1, 2, or even 3 in the morning, almost every night. so last night, jason, monica, and i attempted to teach my dad how to play tetrinet. it.. was interesting to say the least. he actually won a few of the games cuz we started with our field already 18 lines high and we never attacked him. he said it takes a bit too much concentration. at least he sort of likes the game though : ) i think i really ought to do my summer reading. i'm almost finished with catch-22 and oresteia, but i havent started frankenstein or my gov books. and i've also decided that i'd like to read lies my teacher told me. based on what everyone's told me, it seems really interesting. lucky treeee. i want my senior portraits too. ::sulks::

grr. i had to wake up at nine today, for an awful meeting with erica, tim, and some guy from public allies. eight new commissioners are being sworn in on tuesday at the city council meeting. i feel like i'm getting old : ( my earrings are bugging me. i kind of forget about them and i lay down and end up hurting myself. and i'm getting sick and tired of washing my ears with that anti-bacterial formula. and i still have to use that stuff for six more weeks. someone pleeease put me out of my misery. on a different note, the old spaghetti factory is yummy. the youth commission had a goodbye dinner there yesterday, courtesy of the wonderfully generous city of san jose. and.. my dad's back, so we have to eat dinner as a nice little family. wheee.
